My practice focus is to provide
individuals of all ages with comprehensive physical care, touching
all aspects of health: the biochemical body, the emotional body and
the structural body. I not only help patients gain greater balance
in their bodies and lives, thus decreasing and often eliminating
pain, but also teach patients a new way of looking at their body so
they can better take care of it. To find out more about how this is
possible, please contact the office and speak with Dr. Paul McKenna
about setting up a complimentary consultation.

Dr. Paul McKenna
studied at the University of California, Berkeley www.berkeley.edu
for three years. During this time he also completed intensive
massage courses at McKinnon Institute of Professional Massage
www.mckinnonmassage.com in Oakland, California. He finished his
undergraduate studies in 1991 at Fairhaven College
www.ac.wwu.edu/~fhc, a small college of roughly 300 students.
Fairhaven College is a part of the larger Western Washington
University www.wwu.edu, a university of 11,000 students, located in
Bellingham, Washington. Through Fairhaven College, he completed a
self-designed degree entitled, "Eastern & Western Approaches to
Healing and Life". This degree combined various disciplines, such
as Death and Dying, Eastern Philosophies, Sociology, and the
sciences, as preparation for chiropractic college. He began his
chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West
www.palmer.edu/PCCW/PCWmain.htm in the Bay Area before transferring
to Western States Chiropractic College www.wschiro.edu in Portland,
Oregon. He completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1996, and
then moved to the state of Washington to begin practicing. Dr. McKenna's first
exposure to chiropractic care was as a patient when he was
eleven-years-old, so by the time he attended chiropractic college,
he was already well versed in an understanding of different
approaches to chiropractic care. During his graduate studies, he
completed advanced training in a few of these different approaches,
most notably Applied Kinesiology www.icakusa.com, Sacral Occipital
Technique www.sorsi.com, and Neuro Emotional Technique
www.netmindbody.com. His years in Washington working both in other
offices and also in private practice allowed him to develop his own
unique approach to combining these chiropractic disciplines. |
Dr. McKenna was born in
Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to the United States when he was
four-years-old. Although no longer fluent in Spanish, he is
familiar with the language and would like to someday regain
fluency. He lived in France for one year as an exchange student
following high school, and is still conversational in French to
this day. When not helping his
patients feel better, Dr. McKenna enjoys reading, spending quality
time with friends and family, listening to music, cooking good
meals, taking walks, and partaking in all the other wonderful
aspects of living in beautiful, sunny California. |
